A Room Hung with Thoughts

I was recently reading an article by Lorraine Ferrier, “How Our Art Consumption Affects Our Health (https://www.theepochtimes.com/author-lorraine-ferrier) and came across this line:
English painter Sir Joshua Reynolds got it right when in 1784 he said: “A room hung with pictures is a room hung with thoughts.”
What we consume affects our health, whether it is physical health or mental, emotional, intellectual, or spiritual health. I once read a quotation that said, “You can inhale many things, but you can only breathe air.” Inhaling anything else is destructive to the lungs.
What kind of art then, do we want to consume? Does the art we choose to hang on our walls cause us to pursue goodness, beauty, or truth? Or does it instill confusion, darkness, and misconceptions about life? Or is it pointless?

The very joy of observing nature is the catalyst for much of my work because the creation speaks volumes about the Creator.
I am a representational painter because life itself provides more inspiration than I’ll ever be able to put to canvas. That inspiration speaks to everyone with eyes to see and requires no interpreter.
